Lauren Gunderson’s A Room in the Castle made its West Coast debut at the Whidbey Island Center for the Arts (WICA), opening on June 20 for a two-week run. This production of the bold retelling of Hamlet, all from the perspective of the iconic women first made famous by the Bard more than four centuries ago, is directed by Rose Woods.
