November - by David Mamet
Directed by Deana Duncan

Mamet’s favorite word begins with an “F” and it’s not “Fiscal” - Variety.

“A Savage Farce….Mamet is in contention for the title of America’s best living playwright.” – The Guardian

The Oval Office descends in to a three-ring circus of political incorrectness in this riotous farce about an unpopular president desperate to be re-elected. David Mamet’s 2009 Oval Office spoof is a scathingly hilarious take on the state of America politics today and the lengths to which people will go to win.

The New York Times says, “November allows mainstream theatregoers to feel comfortable with Mr. Mamet…besides the thick swarm of obscenities that are de rigueur in a Mamet play, people end up rooting for this president even at his nastiest, the same way they once rooted for Carroll O’Connor as
Archie Bunker. There are “subplots involving the rights of Thanksgiving turkeys, the Indians claims on Nantucket and a pork industry-sponsored “piggy plane” for the exportation of dissidents – a surreal silliness of a
political satire!”
