This conservatory level course is supported by WICA’s strong technical theatre department, introduces students to all aspects of stagecraft: set design, construction and painting; costuming; make up; lighting and sound; and props. Students will gain hands-on experience in hanging lights, running spotlights, controlling light and sound boards, in addition to learning about gels, gobos and all kinds of theatrical special effects including fog and stage blood! They will be introduced to building and constructing varied pieces of scenery; pulling and constructing costumes; creating the perfect prop; setting up wireless body microphones; balancing audio levels; and creating sound effects.
All Ages / June 25 - 29 / M-F / 10am - 2pm / $100 (some scholarship available)
