Her Story: The Women Who Changed America

Sponsored by the Sno-Isle Library Foundation

Are you curious about the women who have changed America? The third annual Trudy Sundberg Lecture is proud to present Jill Tietjen, an author, speaker and electrical engineer.  She is the co-author of the bestselling and award-winning book, Her Story:  A Timeline of the Women Who Changed America (written with Charlotte Waisman).  Her Story is a captivating look at America’s unsung female champions that will resonate with both men and women.

After 40 years in the electric utility industry, Jill’s professional focus is now on women’s advocacy, worldwide.  She blogs for The Huffington Post, speaks nationally on the accomplishments of women, nominates women for awards, and continues to write books.   She is a frequent keynote speaker as her positive energy and ability to relate to the audience result in inspired and energized listeners.  She is a 2012 Daughters of the American Revolution History Award Medal winner, and was inducted into the Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame in 2010.
