OPEN AUDITIONS FOR WICA's 2016-2017 THEATRE SERIES

  • Monday, August 8th, 6:00 - 9:00 PM
  • Tuesday, August 9th, 6:00 - 9:00 PM

Audition Requirements: Please be prepared to perform two contrasting monologues (for example: classical and modern, or dramatic and comedic) OR a monologue and 16 bars of a song, not to exceed five minutes total. There will be several monologues from the plays available for people who do not have an audition piece prepared.

To sign up for a five minute slot, please call 360-221-8262, e-mail auditions@wicaonline.org, or swing by the WICA administration office at 565 Camano Avenue to sign up. Walk-ins are also welcome and will be fit in at the first available time slot. Sign up early! Please remember to arrive at least ten minutes prior to your audition time to fill out paperwork and warm up.

CALLBACKS

  • Wednesday August 10th at 7:00 PM: Macbeth
  • Thursday  August 11th at 7:00 PM: White Christmas
  • Friday August 12th at 7:00 PM: November
  • Saturday, August 13th at 2:00 PM: Rumors

Callbacks for each Theatre Series production are led by their respective directors. Callbacks are a group effort, consisting of cold readings from the script and some ensemble work. Musical performers will sing harmony with others, cold read from the show and learn & perform simple choreography.
